"... Shop and cook your meals for you!"

Our Organic Philosophy

We seek organically grown, unrefined ingredients such as the highest quality extra-virgin cold pressed coconut oil and olive oil. We know where to find the best, fresh and organic produce, dairy, wild caught seafood, and hormone-free poultry. We avoid harmful products containing pesticides, partially hydrogenated oils, trans fatty acids, sugar, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, white flour, refined carbohydrates, and genetically modified ingredients. In addition, our methods for cooking and storing foods are based on techniques that maximize the nutritional value of foods.

Why Organic?  There is a growing consensus in the scientific community that small doses of pesticides and other chemicals can adversely affect people.  Because the toxic effects of pesticides are worrisome, not well understood, or in some cases completely unstudied, consumers are wise to minimize exposure to pesticides wherever possible.

What is Safe?  Studies show that people can lower their pesticide exposure by almost 90 percent by avoiding the top twelve most contaminated conventionally grown fruits and vegetables and eating them organically grown instead.   Eating the 12 most contaminated conventionally grown fruits and vegetables will expose a person to about 15 pesticides per day, on average.

It is not as crucial to avoid eating the 12 least contaminated conventionally grown fruits and vegetables, as these will expose a person to only less than 2 pesticides per day.
